Large rectangular stool in gilded wood topped with red and gold velvet upholstery.
Baluster-shaped base decorated with leafy friezes ending in connecting dice with a rosette flower motif.
They connect at the bottom, an H-shaped spacer with inverted console scroll motifs with acanthus leaves, flowers and foliage on a crosspiece background.In the center of the spacer sits a pine cone.
Very beautiful work from the Louis XIV period topped with a removable red velvet cushion decorated with gold stitch edging.
