China Commissioned for the Lord Mayor of London,
A rare porcelain plate decorated in green family enamels with the Parsons of Great Milton coat of arms in the centre. The wing decorated with four-clawed dragons, phoenixes and flowers in blue underglaze. The upper part of the wing features a Baron's tortil on which rests a Leopard's head surmounted by an eagle.
KANGXI period (1662-1722) circa 1720
