Almost certainly executed in the first half of the 19th century, this beautiful pastel is an ode to color. The young woman's outfit, sparkling with tones and motifs, can be dated to the 1770s. The Louis XVI-style frame, topped with a bow, lends the piece the charm of a late eighteenth-century work, and above all a highly decorative facet.
