Bust of a woman sculpture in polychrome wood from the 18th century

Beautiful polychrome wooden sculpture representing a bust in the form of a gentle and delicate young woman. The face tilted slightly forward gives us a meditative look, eyelids humbly lowered.
Short strands of wavy hair escape from a veil headband placed on the top of her head and falling at the front to outline the pleated and rounded neckline of her dress.
The dress is belted at the waist and sculpted with an abundance of large broken pleats.
The right arm is extended forward in a gesture of openness, while the right hand delicately placed on his chest shows a collected attitude full of serenity.
