Large procession Madonna, Provence or Languedoc, eighteenth century
In carved wood, polychrome and gilded.
A relic of the Veil of the Virgin accompanied by a "Velo B (eata)" (Maria Virgine) philipter is included in the base, behind a blown glass oculus.
The Virgin who tramples on the dragon supports the infant Christ with her left arm, while the advanced right arm presents flowers (missing). The Virgin is dressed in a robe and a large sail with a very savant drapery.
There are some accidents, restorations to the polychomy and gilding. The nose of the Virgin is restored.
