Four angels, Provence or Italy, 17th c.

Rare set of Four Ceroferous Angels, bearing the light brought by Christ.
Two are mounted on cherub-like supports, one arm on the hip.
The other two are on supports with coats of arms, their hands on a scroll forming the end of the candle.
Gilt and polychrome wood, carved in the round.
An exceptional set that would be a mistake to separate.
