While cleaning this painting, the signature and date became visible (photos attached), and it is a cataloged version from 1716 signed by C. Netscher, The Hague. On the back is a label referring to “Mr. Max Kann’s collection, 1890,” confirming that this painting was part of the prestigious collection of this Parisian banker before being dispersed on the art market at the end of the 19th century (purchase invoice attached).
