Galerie Gismondi

The GISMONDI Gallery opened its doors in Antibes in 1966.
In 1982, Jean and Colette GISMONDI decided to develop their business in Paris, opening a space at 20 rue Royale in the 8th arrondissement.

The Gallery is specialized in furniture, art pieces and paintings of the 17th and 18th century, and more specifically in curiosities made of tortoiseshell marquetry known as "Boulle" and Italian hard stones.

Sabrina Gismondi and Eric Reymond (Expert to the CNES), took the direction of the Parisian entity in the years 2000.

Contemporary art quickly became a hobby for the GISMONDI family. The meeting with the great artists César or Arman Schlosser... will give an unexpected dimension to the Parisian and Antibois spaces.

Divina Gismondi, Marius Jacob-Gismondi, and Alexis de Bernede ensure the marriage of Contemporary Art and Antiquity within the spaces, through audacious and intoxicating exhibitions, making the illustrious objects of ancient times cross time with panache.
