It combines the charm of the coloring to the power of the effect.
In 1903 he co-founded with the painter Bonnard,the Salon d'Automne.

His success is fast and his reputation quickly exceeds the circle of salons.

He was awarded the Legion of Honor as a painter in 1914.

He also studied the techniques of conservation of works.
These researches allow him to discover the painting on "finette", a fluffy
fluffy fabric which allows him to reinforc
the vaporous character of his paintings.
