A rare and captivating gilt bronze cast and chiseled Corpus Christi. Three-nail type with protruding right knee and right foot over left. Head bent over chest. Part of left hand missing. Outstanding quality.
Dimensions: 10,5x6,8cm.
A very similar Corpus can be found in the Liebieghaus Museum (Frankfurt) with Inventory Number 217: it is dated 1260.
