Lid from a box in polychromed and gilded enamel on copper depicting a naked warrior with shield and spear in a rural scenery with column. Salmoncoloured backside.
Height 4,7 x width 7cm. Little accidents to 2 of the corners. Tiny (0,7cm) scratch in the black area of upper part in front of shield. Limoges, mid 16th century attributed to Colin Nouailher (1514-1588).
