A large and remarkable flat desk in blackened pearwood veneer and geometric decoration in brass fillets.
It opens with a central recessed drawer and, on either side, two superimposed drawers with a scalloped belt in accolade.

The rounded uprights end in strongly arched feet.
The lateral parts, curved in an accolade, are centered by a remarkable chased and gilded bronze representing a graceful female mask.
Gitbronze ornamentation : entrances of locks "with lions' heads", hanging fluted drawing hands and rosette attachments, masks, leafy sabots, spandrels.
