Table Desk Stamped By Dubut

Table Desk, its sliding tray inlaid with Tulipwood and kinwood, its top framed by a gilt bronze mold. It opens with a curved front drawer inlaid with kingwood framed with tulipwood which reveals a succession of removable writing boards made with leather gilt "doré au petit fer" and removable shelves in tulipwood framed with amaranth. This table rests on four curved legs, chamfered and inlaid with tulipwood and kingwood, ending with gilt bronze hoofs. Very nice work from the Louis XV period, stamped by Jean-François Dubut, who died in 1778. Dimensions 71 cm H x 84 cm W x 52 cm D
