French Régence Amaranth tric trac table

Its top ,framed by a rod made of solid amaranth, shows a ebony and light wood checkerboard on a face and an ancient leather on the other face.

This top covers a jacquet board made of green horn, ivory and amaranth.

This table lays on 4 curved feet ornamented with gilt bronze castings and hoofs.

Work from the French Régence period attributed to “Maître aux Pagodes”, active in Paris around 1730
