Mathieu Criaerd (1689-1776) - cabinetmaker - master's degree obtained July 29, 1738.
This tomb commode is similar to a Criaerd stamped commode (attached photo) cited on p. 212 from the book "French furniture of the 18th century" by Pierre Kjellberg (Éditions de l'Amateur).
