Small alcove cartel and its console circa 1750

Very rare small alcove cartel and its bracket in green horn, decorated with gilded and chased bronzes punched with the "C crowned" forming foliage and scrolls. The upper part is composed of a foliated rocaille vase. The case is decorated with chased and gilded bronze rocaille, resting on four small cambered feet surmounted by grenades burst. The original movement is signed by " Gudin à Paris ", ringing on demand by pulling. The dial, dated "1748" and signed "Decla", is in Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes.
