Character mirror in carved and gilded wood from the Napoleon III period (second half of the 19th century). Fronton in the face of Bacchus (or Dionysus) topped with a crafted dais and completed with generous rockeries, volutes and flowery fallout. Large frame with a flowerbed enhanced by different friezes in reliefs (fine motifs engraved in the gold leaf). Beautiful general condition, restorations in the pediment, bevelled mirror replaced. Frame width without lateral fallout: 102 cm.
