Pair Of Louis XVI Canned Armchairs Stamped Jean Baptiste Lelarge

Beautiful pair of lacquered caned armchairs. Made in Paris, France at the beginning of Louis XVI period circa 1780. The two chairs are stamped JB Lelarge - Jean Baptiste III Lelarge, master in 1775 is one of the best seat makers of Louis XVI reign.

The cushions are covered with a very rich silk fabric.
