Gold and enamel vinaigrette, Geneva, circa 1810.

Small Gold Scent Box, also known as a Vinaigrette.
The body is decorated with five floral enamel panels set against a translucent honey-coloured ground. The same decoration is repeated on the lid.
The base of the box is enamelled in turquoise blue and adorned with gilt arabesques. The lid is surmounted by a small ruby, while the push button is set with an emerald.
It opens to reveal a small pierced grille decorated with floral motifs.
