Designed by Rena Dumas and Peter Coles, this folding furniture line embodies the spirit of travel and movement so closely associated with the Hermès house. The subtle combination of fine wood species and high-quality leather creates a perfect balance between flexibility, durability, and refinement.

The Pippa collection, designed by Rena Dumas with Peter Coles for Hermès, dates from the 1980s. This collection of “nomadic” furniture reflects Rena Dumas’s approach to portable design. Rena Dumas (1937–2009), a Greek interior architect, founded her RDAI studio (Rena Dumas Architecture Intérieure) in Paris in 1972, before becoming the principal designer for Hermès worldwide.

The Pippa collection comprises folding and portable furniture, including a desk, stool, and table, conceived around the idea of portability, reminiscent of traditional campaign furniture.
