The Pippa collection, designed by Rena Dumas (with Peter Coles) for Hermès, dates from the 1980s. This is a collection of “nomadic” furniture designed by Rena Dumas. Rena Dumas (1937–2009), a Greek interior architect, founded her RDAI (Rena Dumas Architecture Intérieure) agency in Paris in 1972, before becoming the appointed designer for Hermès houses worldwide.

The Pippa collection consists of folding and portable furniture (desk, stool, table, etc.), conceived around the idea of portability, much like campaign furniture.
