Offered by Jakob F. Müller Antiquitäten
Elegant early 18th-century French carved oak stool from the Louis XIV / Régence period. The square, upholstered seat rests on a gracefully shaped apron decorated with C-scrolls, carved foliage, and central shell motifs. It stands on four square baluster legs adorned with floral garlands, connected by an intricate X-shaped stretcher with curved supports and a central paterae motif. Newly upholstered in a modern Gobelin-style fabric inspired by 17th-century floral patterns. The inner frame has been professionally stabilized to ensure structural integrity.
