An impressive mid 19th-century patinated bronze equestrian sculpture depicting Alexander the Great on his legendary horse, Bucephalus.
Of particular note are the contrasting silver details applied to the horse’s bridle and breastplate, including a series of finely worked floral rosettes and a classical portrait medallion.
