Pair of Ming Dynasty Chinese figures with bronze mounts, 18th century

A pair of Chinese dignitaries made of green and yellow glazed stoneware, Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). “Ruyi” motif symbolizing the tips of the shoes. They rest on gilded bronze bases from the Louis XV period, mid-18th century.
