Rare burnished bronze and finely chased and mercury-gilded bronze pendulum clock on a white statuary marble base. Modeled as a wine barrel supported by satyrs, surrounded by vines and a draped lion skin, the dial is white enameled with Arabic numerals, signed "Sauvajot A Paris." The movement plate is signed and numbered no. 87. France. Period: LXVI.
