A pair of opaline vases converted into lamps Charles X period

A pair of ‘soap bubble’ opaline vases with a very finely chased and gilded bronze mount.
They rest on a square gilded bronze base; the pedestal and the base of the vase are encircled with chased bronze, as is the neck, and feature large handles coiled around an acanthus leaf.

The lamp fittings can be removed without damage, allowing them to be used as simple vases.
