Flemish school circa 1630 in the circle of Frans FRANCKEN (1581-1642). A sweet scene of the Magi, laying their royal attributes on the groundbefore bowing to the Child in Glory. While all religious iconography is imbued with hope and loverepresentations of the Passion - Christ in bonds, Ecce Homo, Christ at the columncolumn, the carrying of the cross, the Crucifixion and the Descent from thethe Crucifixion and the Descent from the Cross - express a poignant sorrow, which theNativity are preserved here. Our oil on canvas is in fine condition and comes from the Foinet collection.
It is presented in an elegant gilded and carved wooden frame.
