This bronze sculpture depicts a seated female nude in a posture that is both relaxed and structured. The arm raised behind the head introduces a diagonal movement that balances the stability of the folded leg.
The broad and synthetic modelling emphasises the fullness of the forms and the anatomical idealisation characteristic of the artist. The dark patina, with subtly nuanced reflections, reinforces the restrained power and monumental sobriety of the composition.
