PRESENTATION GALLERY : Galerie Paris Manaus
In the gallery of Corinne and Jean-Christian Daveau, the beauty, finesse, and expressive power of the sculptures are captivating.
Located in the Village Suisse since 1970, the Paris-Manaus gallery presents the works of 19th- and 20th-century painters and sculptors, with a particular passion for those known as "traveling artists."
The rarity of the selected works testifies to a long and passionate research process: Carpeaux, Despiau, Barrias, Becquerel, Barye, Lipchitz… and the greatest figurative, animal, Orientalist, and Africanist sculptors are represented. Bronzes, marbles, stones, original plaster casts, and carved wood showcase a wealth of technical skill.
Corinne and Jean-Christian Daveau, CEA-certified experts and members of CEDEA, welcome you to share the story behind each of the exhibited pieces. The Paris-Manaus gallery is located on the edge of the Grand Place in the Village Suisse.
