Louis XIV giltwood console table of rare refinement, resting on four legs joined by an X-shaped stretcher, moulded and carved with scrolling foliage centered by a bouquet of leaves. The base is richly sculpted and composed of foliate columns supporting the apron. The apron is decorated with Bérain-style motifs and features a shaped frieze to the front and on each side. The central apron is adorned with a female mask with braided hair.
The console is topped with a moulded Campan marble slab.
