Restoration period commode, early 19th century, with four independent drawers. The first drawer, located in the frieze, is concealed within the structure of the piece. The three other drawers open with three keys and brass keyholes. The commode is made of burr walnut with a beautiful grain and symmetry, enhanced by the French polish. The lower section consists of a wide plinth resting at the front on two characteristic period ball feet, and two straight feet at the rear. The original veined black Empire marble top has ogee edges. It is in perfect condition, having been serviced and refinished in our workshops. Dimensions: Length 130 cm, Depth 59 cm, Height 92 cm
