Pair of Renaissance-style walnut armchairs, France, circa 1860-1870. One of the backs is decorated with a Virgin and Child with the twelve Apostles (?) at her feet, crowned. The other back is decorated with angels, puttos, scrolls and arabesques. The armrests are supported by mythological figures: Hercules, Diana, etc. High quality of workmanship. The green velvet upholstery can be changed.
