A Louis XIII period walnut wardrobe or bonnetière. It opens with two doors decorated with diamond points and a large central drawer. It is carved on all sides. The wrought iron handles and fittings are original. It rests on two cabriole legs at the front and two straight legs at the back. The moldings and diamond points are of fine quality and very prominent. A very well-made piece from the Grenoble region. The walnut is of very high quality from Isère.
