Medieval painted letter-casket

An extremely rare and museum-quality polychrome wooden “letter”-casket decorated with ten coats of arms.
Alpine region - Maybe Swiss.
15th century.
These boxes were made to keep treaties between states, as this one shows ten coats of arms of the Holy Roman empire.

Dimensions :
32 cm long, 19,5 cm deep, 19,5 cm high.
