French Art Deco Onyx & silver plated Elephant Clock Garniture by Japy Frères, circa 1930
A superb French Art Deco three-piece clock set by Japy Frères, dating from around 1930. The ensemble features a central mantel clock flanked by a pair of matching side garnitures, all beautifully crafted from green and caramel onyx with silver plated accents.
The movement is an authentic Japy Frères eight-day mechanism, stamped “Japy Frères & Cie – Médaille d’Honneur”, attesting to the maker’s celebrated reputation for quality and innovation.
Condition: Very good overall with minor age-related wear; small chips to the onyx consistent with age.
