A beautiful bust of a young Nubian woman, patinated terracotta, produced at the end of the nineteenth century by the Goldscheider manufacture, signed Lévêque with the presence of stamps and numberin.
Auguste Lévêque (1864/1921) sculptor born in Nivelles in Belgium, member of the Society of French Artists, his works are exhibited at the Salon and obtain many mentions including a medal of Honor in 1902.
Signed: Leveque and Goldscheider, numbered 1101.
