From the former library of Alberto Bruni Tedesco in Turin. He was the father of Carla Bruni.
The extremely finely carved figures show a delicate swing and seem to be moving. Some of them are adorned with attributes and wrapped in long togas.
There is an old large-format slide of the library showing the figures.
Possibly a Roman work from the late 18th century.
Three of the figures are likely to have been added to the library's furnishings in the 19th century.
