Attributed to the Maison "L'escalier de Cristal" in Paris,

Four-lobed inkwell in chased and gilded bronze. The lid is surmounted by a carved coral Indian head whose feathered headdress ends in an eagle's head. The lid chain is made of brass mesh alternating with coral. The ink container is made of glass.
