Large Louis XVI giltwood mirror with parecloses in a cross-shaped frame (decorative projections) adorned with rosettes and Greek motifs at the four corners.
It is topped with an openwork pediment decorated with ribboned flowers surrounded by a laurel wreath.
More subtle ornamentation – heart-shaped and pearl-cord moldings – adds to the elegance of this highly decorative and large mirror.
The mercury mirrors are original.
