Louis Majorelle, Art Nouveau marquetry tea table "butomés" model

Rare two-top tea table in marquetry and solid mahogany. Titled ‘aux butomés’, Art Nouveau period. Brown patina bronze handles. Majorelle" signature in the inlaid decoration. This table is in perfect original condition and has not been restored. Referenced in Alastair Duncan's book on the artist under index 58 (Table with ‘aux butomes’ marquetry decoration). See last photo. Note that an identical model is conserved in the Musée des Beaux Arts in Reims under the inventive number: inv. 941.3.524.
