Daum nancy - monumental hammered vase with columbines

An important and rare diabolo-shaped vase made of multilayered glass, featuring an acid-etched design of columbine flowers and leaves. The surface of the vase is entirely hammered, with an iridescent finish and a slightly fire-polished appearance. Beautiful color gradients ranging from purple to orange on a white background. An Art Nouveau piece in perfect condition. Engraved signature on the underside of the base: “DAUM NANCY” with the Cross of Lorraine.
