Pair of amphora-shaped spindle-shaped vases, with two wide, crozier-shaped handles, linking the flared neck in chased and gilded bronze to the patinated bronze body featuring Bacchus heads “en therme”. They stand on Italian red marble bases.
French work by the bronzier Claude Galle (1759/1815) Empire period circa 1800.
