Offered by Antiquités Saint Jean
A fine pair of finely chased gilt-bronze wall sconces. Their bodies resemble torchères adorned with lanceolate leaves, flowers, fluting, laurel wreaths and ribbons. The arms feature swan-bust motifs and foliage, while the bases take the form of vases decorated with palmettes, lanceolate leaves and beaded details. Circa 1810. Height: 34 cm; width: 21 cm; depth: 13 cm.
