Offered by Brozzetti Antichità
This table was made around the fifties of the twentieth century. The structure is in wrought iron with the four legs connected at the top and bottom by transoms and square joints that reflect the design of the feet. The top, rectangular in shape, is in lacquered wood in faux marble. The decoration simulates a floor in clerks of the finest marble and semi-precious stone samples, or different colors, in a style characteristic of the Tuscan area. A frame runs along the profile of the plan with mirrored geometric designs. In the center, inside four squares, are depicted still life with flowering plants and birds in polychrome on a dark background.
The refined table, very decorative and large, is suitable to be placed in any context of furniture, in the center of a room between sofas and armchairs or near a corner. The trompe l'oeil faux marble lacquered top gives the furniture greater lightness, making it easy to handle and therefore also movable according to the need.
For the use of the table top it is advisable to equip it with a glass top to protect the lacquer.
