A "Marine" silver bracelet by Gaétan de Percin

Attributed to Hermès
Circa 1950-60

Master's mark of Gaétan de Percin (in a lozange: G.P. with a cross)

Silver chain link bracelet with 5 charms (lantern, helm, propeller, capstan, sextant).
After working for Georges Lenfant workshop, Gaëtan de Percin created his own workshop and registered his master goldsmith mark in 1938 to start his collaboration with Robert Dumas and Maison Hermès. There he made the first bracelets with silver “anchor chain” links, which have become emblematic. His workshop was the first and only one to work silver for "haute Joaillerie" and major French luxury houses.
