Large Louis XVI commode / chest of drawers, beautiful rosewood, satine and amaranth marquetry veneered model, ormolu ornamentation, thick carved white marble on top. Late 18th century Parisian production circa 1775 - 1780.
Very elegant model, perfect proportions, spectacular piece to be placed in a large living room or hotel particulier.
In excellent condition. Varnish has been restored in a traditional way. Original gilt on the bronzes, a little attenuated. No accident at all.
