Excellent condition with a minor restauration.
Circa 1880.
The frame is in good condition, and uses a dis-used first name of Jean Baptiste Antoine Guillemet.
The picture is a great example of the late realist style of Guillemet, which earned him a great reputation (he sold for more than Monet until the late 1890s). The thatching is a bravura use of thickness, and the complex perspective quite unique for a plein air painting.
