Elegant mahogany desk with an oblong-shaped top, the ends of which are foldable.
The original design of this small desk finds its sources in the neo-classical style, the base is composed of two columns with fluted shafts, they are supported on an entablature supported by four curved legs finished by feet sculpted in lion claws, which take supported on bronze casters. The execution of this jamb is particularly careful, the contours are highlighted with a strip of light wood and the connecting brackets are inlaid with a rosette.
The main face has a large drawer with inlaid decoration of mermaids and nets. The mermaids are shown on the opposite side. Danish work from the first half of the 19th century.
