GFrench Régence Carved and gilded wood console

This console is richly carved, with its curved, cut-out form. Ornamented with shells, scrolls, foliage and flowers.
It rests on two strongly arched feet adorned with wide scrolls and joined by a double openwork shell. In the center, an elegant openwork, gilded and equally ornate upright connects the shell to the rear crosspiece.
Lanquedoc red marble top, cut out and framed by a corbin beak - a long white vein can be seen on the top, which is not an accident -.

Very good condition. The marble is antique. This console has been perfectly restored.
