Two carved walnut putti form a counterpart. Cheeky, they look at each other, their bodies chubby, their arms and feet symmetrical.
One has curly hair and holds a waist-length drape in his left hand. The other has just three strands of hair on his head. He clutches the drape to his chest with his left hand and pulls it back to his right thigh with the other.
They are carved from masses of wood when necessary. This can be seen, for example, on the backs of heads, on the outside of arms and at the tips of noses.
